Tough Times? A few favorite verses …

Some days are just heavy with emotion and tasks that can weigh you down.

There’s nothing you can do about them but go through them
– no escaping,
no dodging,
no handing it off to someone else to deal with
… whatever …
and it can be really tough.
Old fashioned as it may seem, when you’re going through something major it’s always good to have God’s word in your heart and mind.

NO ONE loves and understands you like the Father … give Him a chance to help you make it right, give you the tools to do what needs to be done, provide the strength to hang on for one more day …

– sometimes you may not can think of exactly precise wording of a verse or where something  is but there’s tools available to help you find them – so click that link or go to and begin a search … go on a hunt … you won’t be disappointed.
and when you do find those verses, oh! it’s like finding a treasure.

That’s what I felt about these sweet words below…
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Isaiah 33: 2 O LORD, be gracious to us;
we long for you.
Be our strength every morning,
our salvation in time of distress.

Hebrews 12: 1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

1 Corinthians 2:7 we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

Titus 1:2(we have) faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,
